The Rules of the Realm - Rattles - 09-25-2026
Short law, long peace. Break it rarely, and we shall never speak of it again.
1. Own your games
DevXH never distributes game assets. Do not post, request, or link MPQ files,
pirated downloads, or CD keys.linking to such content earns an instant ban.
1. Play fair
No cheats, hacked clients, or exploits in public games. The server trusts its
players; do not make it regret that.
3. Run honest gates
Gate operators: report real player counts through the heartbeat agent, keep your
showcase thread truthful, and never ship malware in your packages. Falsified
gates are removed from the public listing.
4. Be decent
Argue about builds, not about people. No harassment, hate speech, or witch
hunts. The Tavern is friendly or it is nothing.
5. No spam, inappropriate advertising, or unsolicited promotion
Advertising and promotion are welcome when posted in the appropriate forum. Unrelated products, referral links, and channel plugs posted outside of the appropriate areas may be removed.
Showcasing your DevXH gate in Gate Showcase is not advertising — it is the point.
6. Search before you post
The guides and the Hosting FAQ answer most questions. Fresh threads for genuinely
new problems are always welcome in Gate Setup & Support.
7. The stewards have the final word
Admins and Gate Moderators may edit, move, or remove anything, and will explain
why when asked in good faith. If you disagree with a decision, say so calmly in
a message to the staff — not in someone else's thread.
8. The gates never close, but the law always applies
These rules cover the forum, the website, and every gate listed on it.
